Research interest
Biology and ecology of zooplankton: rotifers and crustaceans (cladocerans and copepods). Functioning of small water bodies. Biotic relationships as a factor structuring zooplankton communities. Habitat requirements of aquatic organisms. Microhabitatual zooplankton diversity in various types of shallow and macrophyte-dominated water bodies. The role of the catchment transformation of small water bodies as determinant of the zooplankton structure. Methods for assessing environmental conditions of ponds using zooplankton.
