Scientific interests
Study of freshwater environments /lake, river, small water bodies/ in the field of chemistry /inorganic and organic forms of phosphorus and nitrogen, metallic and non-metallic elements, phaeopigments/ and physical conditions /light climate/ in relation to landscape transformations. Methods and criteria for assessment of water quality and classifying of trophic status.
Research of reaction of hydrobionts to change of abiotics parameters of water/bottom sediments in the context of water bodies restoration with use of different methods of reclamation (mesocosms experiments).
